Ronald Bruce Pittman, (b. 1950)〔〕 is an award-winning Canadian television and film director. He directed the 1989 film ''Where the Spirit Lives'', which won 3 awards internationally and has been nominated for multiple Gemini and other awards. He is a member of the Directors Guild of Canada and the Directors Guild of America. == Early life and career == Born in Toronto, Ontario, Pittman attended Park Lawn Public School, Royal York Collegiate and Kipling Collegiate in Etobicoke, Ontario.〔(Bruce Pittman Collection ), York University Archives and Special Collections.
